Chicago Area 14 pilot is inviting other pilots for a site visit on April 18, 2008. The schedule includes prebriefing, going into the field with CNTC coaches, and lunch/debriefing. If you'd like to attend, please email Lisa Vahey (lvahey@gmail.com) by Monday, April 7th with name, district, and email address. Confirmations will be sent by Thursday, April 10th (including directions).
The next pilot meeting for both new and continuing pilots will be held on April 22, 2008. It will be held in Champaign at the Levis Conference Center. The meeting is for key contacts, partners, and perhaps lead mentors, if that is appropriate from your sites. Details will follow....including exact times, directions, parking and area hotel info (for those of you who think an overnite is preferred to driving both ways on the same day)
Workshop centered around feedback & support will be held on April 29, 2008 at the IFT offices in Westmont. Participants will have an opportunity to observe, record and give feedback. In addition participants will debrief and discuss what is appropriate feedback and how is it best recorded and shared with those being observed. More details will follow as to time and registration.
NTC will be hosting an Illinois Induction Institute in St. Charles, beginning with a welcome dinner and reception on Monday, July 7th, 2008 and continuing daily from July 8 through July 11, 2008. This 4-day retreat is an excellent way for programs to bring key leaders together for learning and planning.
