June 2008 Events

The Induction for the 21st Century Educator (ICE 21) grant will sponsor trainings for new ROE/ISC-selected trainers in the Administrator Academy-approved Phases I, II, III and Overview trainings. These trainings are designed to familiarize administrators/teacher leaders with key concepts necessary when setting up their own Induction program, i.e., mentor selection, mentor-protégé matching, legal requirements, etc. This training will take place at the DoubleTree Hotel in Bloomington on June 2—3, 2008. July 2008 Events

NTC will be hosting an Illinois Induction Institute in St. Charles, beginning with a welcome dinner and reception on Monday, July 7th, 2008 and continuing daily from July 8 through July 11, 2008.   This 4-day retreat is an excellent way for programs to bring key leaders together for learning and planning.  If you'd like to receive a flyer and registration information, please email Lisa Vahey (lvahey@gmail.com), and she'll be sure to add you to the distribution list.
