Induction and Mentoring:
Supports, Solutions, and Successes

We all face challenges in creating and sustaining systemic, integrated induction and mentoring programs that promote new teachers' development. We invite you to participate in our third statewide conference to interact with other Illinois stakeholders concerned with recruiting and retaining new teachers and with developing the capacity of experienced staff that can support new teachers. This year's conference will focus on promising practices currently in operation across the state of Illinois. Not only will participants network with others who work in similar roles, but there will be time to plan for local needs. Plan now for your district, building, higher education, or partnership teams to meet with us in Springfield.

DURING THE CONFERENCE

- Experience presentations by state and national induction/mentoring experts including Ellen Moir, New Teacher Center (University of California at Santa Cruz)

- Participate in a town hall forum

- Choose from strands tailored to your needs: role, program stage, size, type, or location-alike districts and schools

- Explore INTC Online

- Benefit from increased time to network, collaborate, share and plan with colleagues

- Learn from exhibits (ISBE Pilots, other induction and mentoring programs and vendors)

- Enjoy a complimentary evening reception

- Win a door prize (one $1000 award for a team—to win must be present on Feb 27)

- Earn up to 9 CPDU's for two-days

- Earn (optional) Administrators' Academy Credits (two-day attendance and completion of application component required)
