Induction and Mentoring: Supports, Solutions, and Successes
(2008 Conference Archive)

We all face challenges in creating and sustaining systemic, integrated induction and mentoring programs that promote new teachers' development. We invite you to participate in our third statewide conference to interact with other Illinois stakeholders concerned with recruiting and retaining new teachers and with developing the capacity of experienced staff that can support new teachers. This year's conference will focus on promising practices currently in operation across the state of Illinois. Not only will participants network with others who work in similar roles, but there will be time to plan for local needs. Plan now for your district, building, higher education, or partnership teams to meet with us in Springfield.
